Central to our work, is the roll out of a range of educational
services, from crèches to after school care and community wide
teacher training programmes as part of the Caring Schools
Network.
Uniforms and Stationery
Uniforms are essential for school attendance in South Africa. Our
teams provide new uniforms to enable vulnerable children to attend
school and feel more confident amongst their peers.
Early Childhood Development
Children under 6 years old attend daycare centres and enjoy Early
Childhood Development activities. Cultural and sporting activities
are also part of the curriculum.
Training for Older Children
Our partners run training sessions from carpentry to computer
skills and arrange bursaries so our children have the best chance
of gaining employment once they move on from formal education, and
the tools they need to break free from the cycle of poverty.
