World AIDS Day 2016
December 1st marks World Aids Day. Globally there are an estimated 34 million people who are living with the virus. Help Starfish increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve the health and wellbeing of children who are affected in South Africa. Make a difference and host a Dinner of Hope or donate now!
Girls Club: An outlet for young women in Limpopo
Starfish's partner, Valoyi Trust in Limpopo, has started a Girls Club. The club is run by female care workers and is a safe space to discuss everyday challenges that girls are facing including body changes, the female anatomy, sexual partners and teenage pregnancy and its consequences. Girls Club encourages girls to open up about their feelings and opinions about sensitive issues.
