Dinners of Hope
This flagship campaign simply goes from strength to strength and is
now into its fifth year. The simple concept of encouraging
friends to join together and cook dinner for one another, raising
funds and spreading the word of Starfish has raised over R3.8
million to date. Feedback from the 2006 campaign will be

As our own charity name suggests,
a 'greatheart' is someone who uses their persistence and passion
for sporting activities to make a difference to other people's
lives. We are privileged to generate huge levels of
support through major sporting events across the

Ambassadors
Starfish recognises the value of
each individual and their commitment to this cause. Through
the volunteer ambassador
programme, a commitment is made in accordance with the 'five
points of the starfish' to work together to raise funds and have
fun. This programme is currently run in the UK and will soon
be launched in South Africa.
